Early years foundation stages
I am committed to ensuring each individual child has the tools available to them to learn and develop at their own pace.
Following the Statutory framework for the early years foundation stage I will provide; daily a variety of toys, activities and outings to support each child in my care to meet the seven areas of learning and development that are crucial for "igniting children's curiosity and enthusiasm for learning, and for building their capacity to learn, form relationships and thrive". (statutory framework for the early years foundation stage, 2017, p7)

Learning Journals
Each child will have their own learning journals; which will evidence their individual progress, interests and needs through observations and assessment. This enables all adults around them to understand, develop and plan activities to support their individual learning and support needs. This will be shared between any/all settings that they attend as well as parents/carers.
